Hancock

movies are cool. here is a place to talk about how cool they are. or maybe how much they suck, sometimes. like that fucking piece of shit 'mac and me'. worst fucking movie ever, a two-hour ad for fucking coca-cola.

Wonder if this'll be any good. It looks kinda funny. Will Smith is always best playing comedy, and Jason Bateman kicks ass.

Trailer

I doubt I'll see it in theaters. Too much else going on this summer, and I don't have time to see a lot of flicks in the theater.

I did laugh my ass off at the whale tossing scene. Maybe this could be good.

i was surprised to see this before 10,000 BC, as i had no idea it was being made. weird that it was so off the radar. looks like i might be an entertaining neflix. i doubt i'll see it in the theaters either, though.

Yeah, I've seen banner ads on a lot of comic sites, and figured it was some indie comic using a photo of a dude. It's not easily recognizable as the Fresh Prince. I saw the trailer while browsing the On-Demand shit on cable this morning and laughed my ass off.

American Idol had a new Hancock trailer last night (why are they marketing this movie to girls and gay men?).
The new trailer gives the movie a more serious, action flick vibe.

I'm looking forward to it. It looks like its everything that My Super Ex-Girlfriend wasn't (meaning: good).

because will smith is sexy?

yeah, i was called into the room while reading my stack of comix last night when it was on, and i thought it was disappointing to see the more serious slant to it. i thought it was going to be an all-comedic thing about a slacker superhero, but the whole serious redemption thing kinda made me re-assess my enthusiasm.

i guess. never saw that one.

My super-ex girlfriend was fucking terrible.

I think Hancock could be a rather successful movie. Will Smith? July 4th weekend? Yeah, I think it will do alright.

That said, I probably will not see it in the theater.
"Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. You could see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand. Polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery."

Just another in a long line of Will Smith movies with titles vaguely connected to the Declaration of Independence.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.
