After reading this article about Rogue One on Yahoo, I go down to the comments for a laugh. I have cut and pasted the most recent comment (including their username):

Oh please, please, please......let's not start with another round of Star Wars sequels!
We eagerly awaited the (re) awakening of Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Luke Skywalker after 30 years.
BUT, #$%$? We are getting roped into sequels (again)? Doesn't anyone remember just how bad (in comparison) Chapters 1, 2, 3 were compared to the original 4,5, 6?
I, for one am not shelling out any of my money to see these new sequels, new story-lines, and characters.
No, no, not me buddy.

Most plausible leaked EpVIII title so far?
Fall of the Resistance

Slightly off-topic, but am I the only one who finds the woman in the Chewbacca mask about as funny as a dick kick? I have a bizarre sense of humor and laugh at stupid shit, but there's really nothing I find funny in someone laughing at herself for several minutes.

It's so unfunny, I haven't even watched it yet because I could tell it was unfunny.

It isn't bad. Just instantly over saturated to the point of irritating within 24 hours.
The woman's pure excitement is fun, and she has one of those fairly contagious laughs.

I imagine she'd be a lot of fun to hang out with.
Not knowing her personally, though, and watching her crack up for three or four minutes, not exactly comedy.

Forrest Whitaker's character has been revealed as Saw Gerrera, a character from a season 5 episode of Clone Wars.
I totally see the resemblance.

I think I'm alone. The further we get along, the more reservations I'm having. Not sure exactly why, but the beach, the samurai, the futuristic armor when they're not in the future yet... these things bother me (no, I can't say why they just do) and they are piling up.

Caught the last episode of Rebels. I'm willing to overlook Ezra looking exactly like Aladin. I'll accept that yet another Jedi escaped the purge. I'll even accept all of the OT character cameos. But Lightsaber Helicopters has to be one of the dumbest things in the SW Universe.

Over the past several days, TNT has played Episodes 1-6. Still not a fan of the prequels, but I tried. It is the first time in years that I've watched all 6 in this short of a time frame.
Now, a few random thoughts:
- Vader just can't resist helping you if you say "please".
- The romantic scenes between Padme and Anakin are probably the worst thing about the prequels.
- I still don't get how Padme died. If she did "lose the will to live" after giving birth to twins, what does that say about her character?
- The CGI Yoda they put in the re-released prequels was much better than the original.
- In ROTJ, if Lando and Wedge are in the center of the Death Star, how did they determine which tower was "north"?
- Was there ever anything official on weather or not Owen recognized R2-D2 when he bought him from the Jawas?
I had something else after watching AOTC & ROTS, but now I can't remember what it was.
