It's that time again.

Since Drive got snubbed, I'm picking The Descendants even though everyone seems to be going gaga for The Artist which I thought was overrated.

For Leads, I'm picking Clooney and Viola Davis.
For Supporting, I'm gonna randomly pick Branagh and Octavia Spencer.

Cartoon will be one of the two foreign films.

Art Direction: Hugo
Costume: dont really care so we'll say Anonymous

Director: Alexander Payne. Because I've never understood how the Best Picture couldn't be Best Director. That makes no sense to me.

Documentaries (short and long): No clue.
Foreign Film: again, no clue.

Editing: eh. Nothing stood out for me. I'll say Moneyball, but it'll probably be The Artist.
Make Up: Probably Iron Lady.

Score: John Williams had two really good ones this year.
Song: Muppets! (although this is a sad category this year)

Short Films (live and animated): No clue.

Sound Editing: Drive. Because it was its only Nom. Watch Drive!
Sound Mixing: usually goes to the loudest movie, so Transformers.

Visual Effects: I'm gonna say Rise of the Apes. They'll probably go with Hugo, but eff them. I'd pick Dark of the Moon before Hugo.

Writing: The Descendants and The Artist will probably win.

Tintin didn't get nominated for Best Animated Feature, so I could not be bothered to give a fuck.
