if you connect the wii to the internet and download the "check mii out" channel from the wii market place or whatever it's called, you'll probably be able to see the vader, weird al and frog. they also had some other pretty good ones, someone made lucy from peanuts and it's SPOT ON. the snoopy one was pretty good, too.

HOW TO FIND YOUR Wii CONSOLE NUMBER.
  • 1. GO TO MESSAGE SCREEN (ENVELOPE ICON IN LOWER RIGHT HAND CORNER OF MAIN SCREEN)

    2. GO TO CREATE MESSAGE (PAD & PENCIL ICON IN LOWER LEFT CORNER)

    3. GO TO ADDRESS BOOK ON RIGHT SIDE OF SCREEN.

    4. WRITE DOWN YOUR CONSOLE NUMBER AND ADD OTHERS.

HERE'S A GOOD ONE TO ADD: 7560 1720 7233 2831

I made Mario, but he's a bit off. I also made Cartman. He may be the worst Mii in history. However, I keep them around, as they're pretty distinctive for "Find the Mii."

Ok, Added vyn as well. But for some reason, I can't send messages.

I need to figure out how to join the Wii message board, too.

Is this an actual frog? I'm still not online, so I can't see it.

No, someone used the a green knit hat as the hair and moved the eyes up as far as possible. THey also gave it a large mouth and moved it up to the bottom of the hat. It actually looks ok. The peach colored skin acts as the underside of the neck.

Okay, gotcha. I was curious if the downloads allowed traits that otherwise weren't available.

A friend of mine ported (via WiiMote) a Mii he made of Popeye. It looks quite good. He used a mole for the eye. Sadly, he's missing the pipe, since that's not an option.

Last night I played Wii Boxing against my 6 year old daughter. During the first match, my 2 year old was screaming and running interference while the other one beat me and I lost. So we had the rematch. I actually tried this time and lost again. It was close, but still. I don't understand how she did it. Naturally, after both of her victories, she ran off and told mom.

I feel shame.

yeah, my wife freakin' KILLED me at boxing last night. i think it has to do with where you are in relation to the sensor bar. she's a quite a bit shorter than i am, so i think i was aiming over the sensor. if you stand further back from the TV/sensor it may make a difference. or else you just suck at boxing.

She's gotten into making Miis of Disney princesses. So far, she's made a Jasmine and a generic princess. (There was a Hello Kitty Mii on Check Mii Out. Luckily she didn't realize I could download it).

The sensor bar excuse is kind of lame, but I'll use it. She was standing right next to me. I was using Elvis. He got his butt kicked by a Aladin's girl.

yes, but she's shorter than you, right? she may have a more direct angle to the sensor. you may have been over-shooting it. when we moved further away from the bar my controls were a lot more responsive.
