Yeah, so I'm very tempted by the new Thanos GN. $28 CDN, which at face value is completely shocking. I'm wondering though, are these worth the money? I haven't picked up any of the other new ones & thus have nothing to use to create an opinion, other than the high price.

112 pages = about 5 x 22 pages, or a medium sized limited series. It's Ron Lim & Starlin. I think I may wind up popping for this.

So far there has been 3 (maybe 4) OGNs in the new line.
I flipped thru the Avengers:Endless Wartime book and it was fairly mundane.
There was a Spidey book cowritten by Waid and Robinson.
And this Thanos book.

I'll wait for the softcover versions before making a decision. But the Thanos one looks most favorable.

Thanos, Starlin, Lim. Sounds safe to me.

At least with that combo you won't have any dumb bullshit like Squirrel Girl.

The recent annual by the same team was very good. That's what is pushing me over the top - but I found a better deal. Mycomicshop.com has them for $19.99 each, the new hardcovers.
